The anniversary of Iran’s contested presidential elections
Cycling, walking & running for
Human Rights in Iran
Draft plan, subject to change:
June 12, 2010, 11:30am, at Mel Lastman Sq.
2km walk; from Mel Lastman Sq, walking north on Yonge St. to Finch Subway Station
5km run; Mel Lastman Sq, running north on Yonge St. towards Steeles Ave. and back to Finch Subway Station
11km cycling, Mel Lastman Sq. cycling south on Yonge St. to Queen’s Park
There will be water and perhaps sports drinks and snack bars along the way for runners and walkers. Cyclists will be supported by CHRI team car.
Please feel free to wear your human rights T-shirts or bring banners or slogans related to Human Rights issues in Iran as this is an opportunity to raise public awareness about human rights situation in Iran.

After our walk, run and cycling, those interested can join below actions that are supported by CHRI:
Amnesty International’s Iran Action Circle and Iran Human Rights Society will collect signatures from general public for a paper chain petition at Bloor and Avenue Rd. between 1 – 2 pm. More info:
